March 20, 2021, 10:00am, Trinity Episcopal Church, Newtown, Conn. Virtual discussion of Traces of the Trade hosted by the parish, as part of the Episcopal Church of Connecticut’s ongoing Season of Racial Healing, Justice, and Reconciliation. Free to the general public, but registration required.

April 25, 2021, 5:00pm, Church of the Redeemer, Chestnut Hill, Mass. Virtual screening of Traces of the Trade, hosted by the parish and followed by discussion with James DeWolf Perry. Free and open to the public; register here for Zoom details.

June 21, 2021, 4:00pm, Rhode Island Slave History Medallions Installation, DeWolf Tavern, Bristol, R.I. Installation of a slave history medallion at DeWolf Tavern, located in a renovated DeWolf warehouse. The program includes a screening of Traces of the Trade and a community conversation with DeWolf family members, including Constance Perry, Dain Perry, and James DeWolf Perry. Free and open to the public, but limited seating and COVID-19 protocols in effect. Register at the link.

August 21, 2021, 6:00pm, Church of the Holy Comforter, Vienna, Va.

September 30, 2021, 7:00pm, First Parish in Lincoln, Lincoln, Mass. Virtual screening via Zoom.

October 11, 2021, 8:30am-5:30pm, Race & Slavery in New England Symposium, Byfield, Mass. (and online). James DeWolf Perry is presenting on “Tracing the Trade: What a Family Learned Wrestling with the Memory of New England’s Role in Slavery and the Slave Trade.” Presented by the Museum of Old Newbury.

November 14, 2021, 6:00pm, St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church, Deerfield, Ill. Screening and facilitated discussion.

November 20, 2021, 9:30am – 12:00 noon, St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, Buffalo, N.Y. Screening of Traces of the Trade, followed by a discussion and lunch. Registration is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.
